Craftsmanship

Crafted entirely from genuine Toscana shearling, The Aurelia allows the natural character of the material to become the foundation of the design. Known for its long, expressive wool and beautifully soft hand, Toscana possesses a distinctive character compared with shorter, denser shearling varieties. Along the collar and front, the natural wool is left exposed to reveal its length, texture, and movement — creating softness around the neckline while bringing dramatic dimension to the front of the coat. Rather than introducing a separate fur solely for decoration, The Aurelia allows the Toscana itself to perform both roles: richly textured suede on the exterior, naturally expressive shearling wool within and along the trim. The Finish

The suede exterior carries an intentionally aged finish, creating layers of cognac, tobacco, bronze, and deep brown that give the coat the character of a piece shaped by time. Cognac moves into tobacco; bronze gives way to deeper brown. Areas of light and shadow emphasize the natural surface of the suede and give the garment the character associated with beautifully aged leather, introducing a subtle Western and equestrian sensibility without making the coat feel like costume.
