HYDE The Alessia — Lamb Suede Moto Jacket with Detachable Finn Raccoon Collar | Women's Luxury Moto Jacket

Why We Selected It

Two expressions. One exceptional jacket. The Alessia brings HYDE's material-driven approach to luxury into one of fashion's most enduring silhouettes, pairing supple lamb suede with a dramatic detachable genuine Finn Raccoon fur collar.

Craftsmanship

Structured enough to make a statement yet soft enough to move naturally with the body, The Alessia balances attitude with refinement. Its warm cognac-brown suede brings depth and richness to the silhouette, while asymmetric construction, exposed metal zippers, and precisely placed seams introduce the unmistakable character of classic motorcycle outerwear. The foundation is genuine lamb suede, selected for its exceptionally soft hand, supple character, and naturally sophisticated matte finish. Unlike highly polished leather, suede communicates luxury through texture — its velvety surface responds subtly to light, creating natural tonal movement across the jacket and giving the warm cognac coloration additional depth and dimension.

The Finish

The Alessia's defining feature is its detachable genuine Finn Raccoon fur collar. Known for its impressive volume, long guard hairs, dense texture, and naturally dimensional coloration, Finn Raccoon creates a striking contrast against the soft matte surface of the lamb suede. With the collar attached, the fur sweeps generously across the shoulders and frames the neckline, bringing warmth, texture, and unmistakable winter presence to the fitted silhouette. Natural shades of warm brown, gold, cream, taupe, charcoal, and darker tipping complement the cognac suede beautifully. Because Finn Raccoon is a natural material, variations in coloration, density, texture, and markings are expected — these differences give each Alessia subtle individuality. Remove the collar, and The Alessia becomes something entirely different: statement winter outerwear with the Finn Raccoon, streamlined suede moto without it.

Styling

With the Finn Raccoon collar: pair The Alessia with fine cashmere, fitted trousers, dark denim, or leather boots for statement winter dressing. Without the Finn Raccoon collar: style it with denim, tailored trousers, a silk blouse, or lightweight knitwear for a cleaner transitional look. The Cognac suede works especially well with cream, camel, chocolate, black, charcoal, denim, and other warm neutrals.

Investment Quality

The detachable Finn Raccoon collar isn't simply a decorative feature — it fundamentally changes how The Alessia can be worn. During colder months, attach the collar and allow its natural volume to transform the jacket into a winter statement piece. As temperatures rise, remove it and The Alessia becomes a clean lamb suede moto jacket suitable for transitional dressing. Winter evenings, après-ski, fall afternoons, spring travel, dinner, city dressing, weekend mountain wear — The Alessia changes with the season rather than being defined by one.

Care

Lamb suede and natural Finn Raccoon require specialist care. Avoid prolonged exposure to heavy rain, wet snow, excessive moisture, perfumes, oils, and direct heat. If the suede becomes damp, allow it to dry naturally at room temperature away from direct heat sources. Do not apply conventional smooth-leather creams or polish to the suede surface. When the Finn Raccoon collar is removed, store it in a cool, dry environment with sufficient room to preserve its natural volume, avoiding compression during long-term storage. Professional cleaning by a specialist experienced with suede and natural fur is recommended.
