HYDE Roxanne Merino Shearling Coat with Silver Fox Collar — Ivory | Women's Luxury Statement Coat

Why We Selected It

Some coats are designed for winter. The Roxanne is designed to define it. One of HYDE's most commanding expressions of luxury outerwear — a dramatic mid-calf coat crafted from exceptionally soft Merino shearling and framed by an expansive genuine Silver Fox collar.

Craftsmanship

The foundation of The Roxanne is genuine Merino shearling, selected for its exceptional softness, natural insulation, and beautifully tactile character. Shearling is unique because the hide and wool remain naturally connected, creating a material that provides substantial warmth while maintaining suppleness and comfort. In The Roxanne, that natural character becomes part of the design — subtle variations in texture and tone create dimension across the elongated silhouette, while the softness of the shearling provides a sophisticated counterpoint to the dramatic Silver Fox. Rather than feeling overly constructed, the coat derives much of its presence from the materials themselves.

The Finish

An expansive genuine Silver Fox collar frames the neckline and shoulders before cascading down the front of the coat, creating one of The Roxanne's defining visual signatures. Silver Fox is prized for its exceptional volume, long guard hairs, and naturally dimensional coloration — its combination of deeper tones and luminous silver tipping creates remarkable visual depth as the fur catches the light and moves with the wearer. Against the softness of the Merino shearling, that volume creates a striking textural contrast. Because genuine Silver Fox is a natural material, subtle variations in coloration, density, markings, and texture are expected; these characteristics make every garment individual.

In Ivory, the lighter palette allows the natural character of the shearling to become especially visible, creating an elegant winter statement with exceptional presence. Against Ivory, the dimensional tones of the Silver Fox become even more pronounced — the result feels luminous, sophisticated, and unexpected.

Styling

The Roxanne occupies a rare space in a winter wardrobe, carrying enough substance for serious cold-weather dressing while remaining refined enough for sophisticated evening occasions. Wear it over fine cashmere and tailored trousers during the day, layer it over refined knitwear for après-ski, or allow it to frame an elegant dress for dinner. Ivory pairs beautifully with winter white, cream, camel, soft grey, chocolate, and other restrained neutrals. Because of its length, texture, and extraordinary Silver Fox collar, The Roxanne requires very little additional styling. The coat is the look.

Investment Quality

The Roxanne is not built around a passing trend. Its foundation comes from materials with a longstanding place in exceptional cold-weather wardrobes: natural shearling and Silver Fox. The design builds upon that tradition with an elongated silhouette and restrained construction intended to remain relevant beyond a single winter — the kind of garment that becomes associated with places, with evenings, with winters, and eventually, perhaps, with another generation.

Care

Merino shearling and genuine Silver Fox require specialist care. Avoid prolonged exposure to heavy rain, wet snow, perfumes, oils, hairspray, excessive moisture, and direct heat. If the garment becomes damp, allow it to dry naturally at room temperature away from direct heat sources. Never machine wash, tumble dry, or apply conventional household leather or fur treatments. Store The Roxanne on a substantial hanger in a cool, dry environment with sufficient space around the garment, avoiding compression of the Silver Fox during storage. Professional cleaning by a specialist experienced with luxury shearling and natural fur is recommended, and professional cold storage is recommended for long-term seasonal preservation.
