HYDE Jason CRS Denim 501 Indigo Jacquard Snap Shirt
Why We Selected It
We selected the Jason CRS for the fabric, which is doing something most Western shirts never attempt. The geometric Southwestern motif is not printed on the denim — it is woven into it as an engineered jacquard, which means the pattern has physical depth you can feel under your hand and cannot wear off. Very few Italian mills will run a jacquard in indigo denim at this weight.
Craftsmanship
Made in Italy by Dune from 98% cotton and 2% elastane — comfort stretch that moves through the shoulders without giving up structure. Authentic Western detailing executed with Italian precision: a pointed Western yoke, pearlized snap closures, and a clean placket that sits flat whether worn open or fastened.
The Finish
A gradient indigo wash that lifts the jacquard pattern into relief, deepest at the seams and lighter across the panels. The indigo develops with wear the way good denim should — the pattern becomes more pronounced, not less.
Styling
This is the statement piece of the Western shirt range. Wear it alone and let it carry the outfit, or layer it as an overshirt over a plain tee. Pairs with dark chinos, indigo denim, and suede outerwear.
Investment Quality
Woven pattern rather than applied, Italian denim rather than commodity cotton, and a stretch content low enough that the fabric ages like denim instead of degrading like activewear. The Jason gets better with wear and washing.
Fit Notes
Modern Western fit — true to size. Offered in European sizes 46–56.
